Visited here numerous occasions and always find out something new. The place is heaped in history and is just a beautiful building. If you're in paisley then please check it out.

I would recommend Paisley Abbey to everyone, it is steeped in history and even has a kids favourite " The wee mouse ". Lots of beautiful stained glass and a fantastic tapestry to see.

The 800 year old Paisley Abbey where William Wallace received part of his education is well worth his visit. A marvellously restored abbey, complemented by models and picture displays illustrating its history and friendly guides who would narrate interesting information then leave you free to walk round at your own pace.
If you visit Paisley the Abbey is certainly worth a visit. It's one of the most beautiful buildings in Scotland. Steeped in history too, William Wallace was educated here by the Abbey Monks. Visited the Abbey when the Royal National Mod was on. The Abbey was one of the competition venues and the acoustics there were fabulous for choral competitions. It's a stunning building steeped in history
This is without doubt one of the most beautiful buildings of its kind in Scotland. As a participant in the Royal National Mod 2013 I thought the acoustics quite magical --- enhancing the good voices and flattering the others.
What a gem. A great church with very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Simply beautiful and with so history it is well worth at visit. It's the second time I have been here and now it has been restored it much better than my first visit.
Anyone spending time in Paisley must make time to tour the 800 year old Abbey. It is an absolutely beautiful building and the tour guide we spoke to was very knowledgeable about not only the Abbey but the history of the town as well.
