Canal Street is the place with all the action! Fantastic atmosphere! We look forward to spending more time there in the future!
In the good weather this is a great place to eat alfresco next to the canal and at other times it is great for a party night.
10 years ago, the gay village was the place to be.. heaving with party goers.. those having a laugh.. street entertainment... people having fun and music in the streets! even the occasional fire eater! the clubs were full to the brim with happy people...

The village is a great and safe night out, however, be aware if your not gay or dont appear as gay(camp), some places will not let you in, even if you are gay.

Absolutely amazing place to visit! Especially good on weekend afternoons when the sun is out or for Manchester pride on August Bank Holiday. Only downside is the number of straight people who have started to visit.
