It was a pleasure to visit such a place even all in family. When you get up there you will have the opportunity to make a great look all around.

We caught a bus and as we came round the corner, there it was in all it's glory - it was quite breathtaking! Lots of hawkers selling Eiffel Tower key rings ie 5 for one Euro and a few little souvenir shops dotted about. Lovely setting and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
I have been in Paris for few days, and of course I could'nt leave the most visited city in the world without visiting the city symbol : Tour Eiffel. Easily accessible by the subway, get out in the "Trocadero" station. From this place, you can have an amazing view of the tower, with a full length picture including the 4...

I have been here several times in the past few years and the views from the top are nice but the lines and crowds are not really worth it for the view. There are many places to get nice views in Paris. Some are free. The roof top deck from the Galleries Lafayette is nice. It's free and uncrowded.
went friday afternoon about 3pm and queued for 1 hour to get tickets to the top. Got to second floor then had to queue again to get to the top, views amazing. Then had to queue to get back to second floor, and queue to get to the bottom. It took just over 3 hours from start to finish. It...

Beautiful day. I had a quick lunch in the second floor, on a bench looking towards the Trocadero. It’s amazing, just be sitting there...

Great to see during the day but so glad we returned in the evening to see it illuminated. Did not go up the elevator or stairs. Didn't feel we needed to do that to appreciate its beauty.
We had pretty much given up the idea of going up the Eiffel Tower after reading how crazy long the lines are if you didn't make a reservation. So we went just to take pictures from below, and walking underneath noticed that it's only 5 euros and a short entry line to take the stairs up to the second level....

should not miss. picnic on the grass . while you do not need to go to the top and have to pay extra and wait for 2nd elevator. how can you resist .day or night
We arrived about an hour before sunset so we could view the entire city and then see it as the sun was setting. The view of the City of Lights was well worth it.
