Tis museum is on the a outskirts of central Paris, near Rolad Garros tennis center, but it's worth the trip if you like Monet. It has a lot of paintings. It's private, so the Carte Musee doesn't work here.

Whilst this is a little out of the way it is a must for Monet fans. The place us easy to find dispute being off the tourist trail and right next to an amazing park to keep kids happy afterwards. The musee is somewhat crowded with most of the major works right next to the entrance which makes for a... More

Lot's of waterlilies by Monet on display here as well other Impressionists. Checkout the combination ticket if you plan to visit Giverny as well.

I went here for the Monet collection - but the Musée Marmottan offers a lot more than just that. The Museum is off the main tourist trail (and off the edge of most tourist maps) in the west of the city, but is easy enough to reach - 10 minutes' walk from La Muette metro station (Ligne 9) through a... More Berthe Morisot paintings than the Musee D'orsay. A painting of the young Berthe by Edward Manet (her maybe lover and brother in law) hangs to welcome you to two rooms full of her beautiful paintings. If you love this amazing underrated Impressionist take the time to visit this museum, now my favorite in Paris!

It's not very central, but worth the effort if you're a fan of Monet, after the Orangerie, this is probably the place you need to visit in Paris.

If you love Monet, or have seen all the "major" museums, this one is definitely worth seeking out. Rick Steves gives good directions in his books. Short metro ride and a few minutes walk in an area of Paris you might not otherwise see.

One of my favorite museums in Paris, this beautiful old mansion houses the largest collection of Monets in the world. Many tourists miss this one and it is such a treasure!
