If it's a sunny day, head to ile st louis and you're not gonna regret it! all of the young students from all over the world and all over paris are gathered here during the day sunbathing and playing guitars during the night.

Berthiolli ice creams. We had a lovely sunny day so it was a nice place to stroll. Tried to find sainte Chappelle, but it was closed when we did find it. The palais of justice appears to be built round it.

But still worth a stroll. Had lunch at Cafe Med...terrible name, but very nice lunch. Some of the little shops seem to come an go. We looked for a favorite candy shop, but "poof"...gone.

I did not feel visiting this Ile was worthwhile. The architecture, shops, and restaurants were not remarkable.

We walked here for an evening crepe at about 8 pm. Firstly there was a full Jazz band playing on the bridge from Ile de Cite with a full size piano (?). then we had the best caramel crepe in the world and walked home admiring the city of lights.

Ile St Louis is in the middle of Paris, yet islolated. Charming streets, a beautiful baroque church, a Rothschild hotel particuler are all there. In the narrow streets, you have a great glimpse of old Paris. If you stay there, you're very convenient to everything, but hotels, in general have very small, but comfortable rooms. The streets tend to fill... More

A little quieter than some of the higher volume tourist attractions that are nearby although does gets its share of tourists. A good change of pace after the throngs at Nortre Dame and only a few minutes walk from there . Great spot to just catch your breath.

Paris is full of bridges and at that nicer looking ones than this. A cool place to walk but when in Paris there aren't many places that aren't cool to walk/visit
