The town is preserved as it was in the 17th century. The place is on a hilltop, views are amazing. The streets and bulidings give you a short history lesson.

Great place to sightsee and shop. A very unique place with lots of things to do. The Christmas store was a highlight as was the museum of medieval punishment

Loved the atmosphere of the old town, quiet, quaint and they are not allowed to alter the buildings so it gives you a true sense of what it looked like 600 years ago.

Such a romantic city, so much history and beautiful architecture! Lots of things to see and do. Wonderful bakeries, restaurants and lots of shopping.

We all loved walking through the Old Town, noticing all the beautiful doors and other details that have been preserved through times. Since it was off season, we practically had the streets to ourselves.

Spend many days just wandering around the old town. Such beautiful, if not quirky, architecture. Would definately return to explore when there is not so much snow!

Made me feel like I have entered a fairy tale land. Fine historic buildings to gaze at and admire. Read up on its history to appreciate the sights.
