To make it short and crisp, this is a nice place to go if you want to get away from the rumbling city for a few hours. Very tranquile and nice on the eye, too. Kids will find the playgrounds nice.

The Planten un Blomen park is a really beautiful park you can have a peaceful walk and make a nice piknic, just buy some cheese, bread and a bottle of wine, choose your favorite point in the park (it's really big) and have a romantic piknic in the afternoon! I totally recommend it!

We really enjoyed our day in this lovely well kept park. So much to see. And so many different water features. Great park to take the kids too as there are many large play areas.

Fantastic gardens. Enjoyed a casual walk around the grounds by the Radisson Blu Hotel. Very relaxing and quiet, even with all the people.

As a Master Gardener I am always on the hunt for exceptional gardens, this is one of them. This is a sprawling oasis, and from what I could tell probably gets more beautiful as the season progresses. I spent the day here on April 28, I decided to take the UBahn to St Pauli to be able to walk the... More

This park convinces through it's central location and it's variety in flowers. Situated between Schanzenviertel, City, the Alster and the fair it's easy to reach. Furthermore one can take an extended walk through Grosse Wallanlagen and Bismarck park to reach the Elbe. While in the park you can enjoy various flowers, trees, lakes, hang around niches, playground, concert place, light... More

Centrally located and very relaxing; open park with plenty of walk ways, places to sit and rest and a children's area to keep them occupied.

On a nice day you could spend a few hours in this delightful park. The Japanese Garden in Spring with all the blossom was really stunning.

Ideal for long walk, jogging, taking a pet for a walk, play with children on one of many playgrounds, just to relax or gather your thoughts, have a snack or a cup of coffe, great even for taking some pictures or to learn something about the trees, plants and rocks. This park was a pleasant surprise, don't miss it, even... More
