Famous museum with great exhibitions, wonderful collection
Being a bit of an art museum junkie, I was a little skeptical about a museum in Essen. I was humbled. It is a lovely museum with a nice collection of French impressionist, Brücke school, modern art, etc. Definitely worth going!
at Renoir work "Woman's portrait". Very friendly speaking English staff.
If you are ever in Essen you should visit the museum Folkwang: The new and the "old" but fully renewed buildings are worth to visit because of the architecture and the exibition.
