Bring comfortable shoes...you'll do a lot of walking. The views are excellent. To get the most history knowledge of the fort, pay for the listening-headphones or bring a guide. A nice large area for children to run around and people to walk and view the fort. The cable car ride down to the Eck is nice. Great view.
