We stumbled upon the cathedral while waiting for Alcazaba fort to open. It is very interesting to walk around it and see where the building stopped from loss of funds. When we went there was a sign that apparently said "no tourists" but we didn't see it until we were shooed out. Inside is very beautiful and the old wooden... more

It's definitely worth going to but I've been in many cathedrals in Europe and this one wouldn't make the short-list. If you're short on time I would cut this from the list, but if you do have the time then why not. more

While the cathedral is impressive from the outside (it’s a shame that only one of the 2 towers at the front of the building was fully completed) it is simply amazing on the inside. The sheer immensity of it is breathtaking; it is hard to believe that it was constructed without modern tools. The ceiling alone is worth the visit.... more

Okay so it's huge, but if you've been inside one Spanish Cathedral I wouldn't go out of your way to pay 3.50 Euros to see this one (spend your money on seeing the Alcazaba instead). The outside is more interesting. more

This is a must see in Malaga. We spent the better part of an hour and a half touring this amazing cathedral, which was built in the 1500's (and added on until the 1800's). A bit of work still appears to be going on here. Well worth the ~3 Euros per person to enter. It would be worth the trip... more
