Make sure to come here when you visit the Alhambra! Absolutely beautiful gardens and fountains with stunning views over the rest of the Alhambra and Granada :)

these gardens have an amazing variety of flowers and roses.we loved it and wished we could spend more time there.the fountains,,,the irrigation system...all show how advanced the civilization was at that time

It takes your breath away seeing the fantastic floral displays. Having spoken to the jardineros there are only 17 who keep this place looking like it does. Well done to all.

The Generalife has received some remodelling since our last visit 18 months ago with a large open theatre added. We took some friends and they were very impressed. We have visited several times and you always see something new. A must see (along with the Alhambra) if you are in Granada.

Go early and you will find soon cool shady spots you can loose yourself in. The gardens are really well cared for and the view is fantastic over Granada. Take a packed lunch and enjoy.

If you are in Granada, this is a must-see, along with the Alhambra. It is part of this visit and you should walk the walk from the Palace and see it. Well worth it!

Now I've seen how to do a courtyard garden with water feature the correct way, I'm going home to start planning. These gardens are lovely, especially on a hot day. Highly recommended.

don't forget to do this one also as it is so peaceful and the water fountains are so callming as are the gardens.
