Great place to visit, the gardens are much better than the palace itself and with great views of the Alhambra walls and the city of Granada.

Went to the Generalife before the Palace as it was an afternoon visit, I think this is the way to do the afternoon trip in October. Everything is so well organised up there, we didn't feel at all crowded, bus service wonderful and very cheap...don't miss it!
Apparently often missed by tourists who have spent hours site seeing around the Alhambra and then run out of steam. Plan to spend a day at the Alhambra and General Life, stop and soak up the experience, the atmosphere and the clever design of the beautiful gardens.
