Flamenco in Sevilla is a very formalized version of Gypsy originated dance, but Casa de la Memoria offers a very intimate, no drinks/meals, affordable view of great flamenco. Make sure to show up 30min or so early and sit only few feet away from performers!

Once again Trip Advisor has come through with the goods! As we found out, this place is attached to a private flamenco school in Seville and all the performers are the teachers at that school. They travel internationally with their shows and are amazing, passionate performers. After their third show of the night they told the staff that they were... More

I wanted to see authentic flamenco and not a tourist show and reading the reviews on tripadvisor sent me here and I was not disappointed at all. The hour long show seemed to pass in seconds and left me wanting more. Love, love, loved it. I will return one day soon I hope.

We head up at the Casa de la Memoria after hearing good reviews on the web. First of all the welcome was very friendly, professionnal and in many languages. After Buying our tickets we came back at the evening to see what we wanted: REAL Flamenco. A bit afraid to get a "tourist show",I wouldn't have thought about seeing something... More

We were strolling by the entrance of la Casa de la Memoria and someone handed us a flyer...since it's our last night in Seville we decided to grab two of the last tickets available for the 9 p.m. Sunday show. I had misgivings - flamenco, like paella, can be sublime or tasteless. I understand that this is not a "set"... More

I have seen many flamenco shows including authentic impromptu ones having grown up in southern Spain, and this is one of the best ones for tourists. The forum is such you get a great view pretty much wherever you sit, although if you get there 30 mins prior as they recommend you can queue and choose your seat. We had... More

Inspired by excellent reviews on Trip Advisor my wife and me went there. We were not disappointed, but honestly I expected a bit more. The room is pretty small, and chairs (free seating) are close so that visibility is good from anywhere. It is forbidden to take photos (?!) during the performance except at the very end, and even more... More

Apparently moved recently. New venue is terrible. Indoors, cramped, hot and as elongated U shaped difficult to watch show without cricked neck at end. Seating upstairs but whoever ventured up there immediately came back down, so obviously not good. Male & female performers were poor, constantly repeating steps, as was the singer who shouted rather than singing with expression!

This is the first time Casa de la Memoria answers a review. We fortunately have lots of comments, most of them possitive. When somebody gives us a not so good punctuation we try to improve in basis of what that person dind't like. We wish we could fulfill all the expectations, but it's clear we cannot satisfy everybody. Assuming this... More

You will see very technical Flamenco dancing and singing. It is a perfect show for people never watch Flamenco before. This place turning supposing a rough, street type act into refine classical performance . The show is fantastic! Well worth its ticket price of $16 EU but don't stop here continues to watch and enjoy Flamenco in more rough form... More

We were taken by Sevillian friends to Casa de la Memoria to watch a flamenco show. You know it must be good if that is where the residents of the city take their guests. It was spectacular and if we had the opportunity we would have gone again...and again...and again.
