If you're looking for something to do with the kids while in Barcelona, CosmoCaixa, or the Science Museum is a great choice. It's near the Tibidabo mountain and very easy to arrive by metro. There are dinosaurs, a planetary and a underwater jungle with real rain. Perfect for a rainy day - or not.

I really enjoyed my trip to the Science Museum, we got there just in time for the 3D Planetarium display which is an absolute must if your in the area. The Rain Forrest was very cool as well. The museum is also great because you don't need to be able to speak Spanish or Catalonian to enjoy it.

Great interactive exhibitions, lots of things to see and there's also a mini-rainforest. One can easily spend a day there!

That is my kids question every time we go to the museum. We started going there when they were about 2 or 3, and there are things that are a bit difficult for them, so my guess is that we will continue going for some time. We have taken many friends there, and it is always a great choice. A... More

With a 4 EURO admission ticket (and a 30% discount if bought online) this will give you the best value for the money for Barcelona attractions. You can easily spent 1/2 day here (even more if you go to the Planetarium shows or specific exhibitions). Not as many "games" as in other Science Museums (like Vienna or Paris) but some... More

Well worth a bit of a trek on the metro.Lots of things to see and do and nearly all of the interactive exhibits worked unlike so many museums these days. There really is something for everyone there whatever your age , plus a good cafe and excellent views.

Found this by chance when rain meant tibidabo was not a great idea . Instead found a great attraction that had the kids enthralled all afternoon, even then only saw a small part, well worth a visit especially on a dull / rainy day.

We visited this by chance as we happened to be in the area with a few hours to kill. Boy, were we surprised. We had a free entry ticket so didn't think much of just going in to check the place out - we ended up spending a good few hours wandering through the vast displays and interactions available! It... It's a great place to take your kids. Besides, it's got a great view of the city, spectacular building, nice restaurant with a wonderful terrace.
