Spent most of the day walking around this great piece of architecture, took lots of amazing photos .Didn't actually go in as most of the attractions seemed like a lot of displays and movies. Seemed like a lot of people were taking there kids in.We walked on to the oceanographic, located right next to it to see the penguins ,sharks... More

Rent a bike and drive in the Turia-park all the way down to Santiago Calatravas "Monuments". It is quite contrasting, the small artificial riverines and palmtrees with these futuristic buildings. You may visit as well the aquarium (there are better-ones in other places around the world, and i better don't imagine the crowd in summer highseason!), and you can drive... More

We bought tickets for both attractions on the day and saved €€€€. Great for adults and children alike and the bars/cafes were quite reasonable but you could re-enter the Science museaum if you wished to leave to go to the nearest McDonalds or food court at the 'El Saler' shopping centre.

If you like modern architecture, it might be worth it to see this complex for the buildings only. Too bad the entrance fees are pretty high.

WE visited this 15 year old structure in Valencia showing how arts and science benefited us using interactive methods. We also saw a imac film from the Hemespherico. The architectural structures were surrounded by pool and the whole place is huge and the nigh view isfantastic with colored light.

Wandering around the City of the Arts and Sciences felt like a futuristic space age city. The enormity of the structures is quiet overwhelming. We visited Oceanographic, the largest Aquarium in Europe which was fabulous and spent the rest of the day looking around the other buildings. It was a great experience .

The whole area is visually stunning. We didn't actually go into any of the exhibitions, but spent a lot of time just admiring the architecture.

Bought tickets to see a film in the hemisferic and saw The mystery of the Nile. Felt like you were taking part in the action. The film took around 50 minutes and we were supplied with headphones so there was no problem with translation. Once again the architecture is a joy to see.

If you like the Sagrada Famiglia in Barcelona, you will love this complex. Modern architecture at its best, with some aspects reminiscent of the Barcelona church. Well worth a walk around the outside of the buildings without necessarily going inside (and paying). Leave time for a drink at one of the cafes where you can sit and admire the various... More

The Ciudad des las Artes y de las Ciencias (City of the Arts and Sciences) is a fairly recent addition to the cultural life of Valencia, and the large site on the port also includes a performing arts centre, a large aquarium and various other institutions. The structures have a dramatic architectural interest all by themselves, similar to Frank Gehry's... More
