It was ok.. nothing special.. yes, you could see the penguins, sharks, dolphins, jelly fish, crabs and all sorts of fish but the maintenance of the tanks, the walking areas and such were not great. Not good if you are claustrophobic, as there are big crowds with lots of kids. Genoa is a bit of a dive as well. The... More

The intent was to break up the monotony of museums and cathedrals for my children (9 & 6) during a 2 week Italian vacation, and this was the perfect thing! The aquarium, while not huge, houses a large variety of fish and aquatic mammals, including dolphins, manatees, and penguins. The exhibits were clean and well-marked. The aquarium is located on... Half the acquarium was closed, been there often but was shocked to find more than half closed with no reduction to entrance ticket.

I took my 18 year old son here after moving to Milan. He wanted to see the coast, the beach, and experience the local food, and of course the sights. Even an 18 year old can enjoy this! The aquarium path throughout the building winds back and forth, giving you a different perspective upon every turn. There's even a location... More

se venite a genova, soprattutto se avete bambini, non potetet perdervi questo spettacolo, anche se specie d'estate aspettatevi di fare parcchia coda. Purtroppo si viene continuamente infastiditi da questuanti e nessuno fa niente. If you are visiting Genoa you can't miss this spectacular aquarium, expecially if you are with children. Of course expect to gave quite a queueing in summer.... More

Well worth a visit to see the canon balls and ancient canons from the ancient city's sea-faring history. Actually why don't more people visit Genoa? Well, everyone goes to Rome, Milan, Florence and Venice don't they? And they should! Those cities are magnificent. But,make a tip from me, Genoa is well worth a visit. It has one of the best-preserved... More
