You can visit the monastery - which is small but beautiful - but other than that you can only see the fresco of Leonardo da Vinci if you make a reservation in advance.

this is a must see when going to milan.please book in advance, else you cannot get tickets as only 25 people allowed every 15 min.
This sacristy and the cloister are definitely worth seeing. The sacristy is a visual feast with a gorgeous painted ceiling and beautiful painted cabinets. On display are pages from Leonardo's Codex Atlanticus which are just fascinating. They are mounted in plexiglass, so you can get right close and see Leonardo's drawings and handwriting. A great Church interior. Personally I found the interior more impressive than the Duomo which is more flashy on the outside and sombre on the inside. This church is right next to the painting of the last supper so if you arrive early for the time slot spend some time in here.
Don't miss Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper at the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie. You MUST purchase your ticket in advance, either online or through the call center. The number of visitors is limited for a 15 minute viewing of this awesome painting. The Church is included as an UNESCO World Heritage site. Beautiful Gothic architecture.

We arrived at 7:55 to get inline outside the museum. At 8am the doors opened and we showed our...

I hesitate to share the secret, but if there is one thing you appreciate in Italy, it is a convenient, clean, free bathroom -- and it...

next to the Last SUpper so she is sort of the quiet sister to the Show. It's attractive and cozy. A pleasant walk through of a working church
