A great spot to really capture one moment of Venice's bustling, colorful charms. Cute restaurants line the alleys below and underneath of you, from a viewpoint on the bridge, boat traffic glides along. An amazing picture and spot to experience!

The Grand Canal is best seen on an expensive gondola ride, it was amazing to get a view from the water. I could have taken all day and rode up and down the Canal
many boats pass here..waterbuses, VIP boats, gondolas. You must be on one of these boats to get a feeling of the gran canal.

The canal buildings are gorgeous! On either side you see history. Very nice to ride in a boat or gondola and see the sights.
It's just like they said it would be in the guide books and everywhere you look there is something else to see.
we loved watching the gondolas go up and down ,seeing the palazzos and crossing the little bridges -interesting to stand at the Rialto and think of "The Merchant of Venice " and Shylock!

I did a lot of research in looking for a hand made Venetian mask and found a shop and watched the artist apply the gold leaf to the mask. Prices are...
