You have a piano, soprano & tenor performing Opera’s love song and Italian love songs. The setting and performance is overwhelmingly powerful. You’ll be moved to tears by the emotions. Not to be missed. « less

Professional singers and pianist performed popular arias from operas by Mozart, Verdi and Puccini. The standard was excellent and enjoyed by all. A great evening of entertainment.

Saw the group perform Tosca tonight at the church. While the acoustics is not bad the church setting is sub optimal for opera performance. The cast was enthusiastic but consisted of capable amateurs. Their signing was solid but acting skills generally poor (with one partial exception). A very British introduction of the saga before each Act was a nice addition.... More

What could be more iconic than opera in Florence? This is a really enjoyable experience, especially if you don't want to sit through and entire opera. Performing sort of the top 20 of opera songs, the performers are top notch and the venue couldn't be more intimate. The joy is being so close to the singers - and oh, can... More

We attended the opera "Love Duets" in this small pretty church. The pianist and organiser is a real show man and we were entertained and even joined in singing the lalala chorus. At 1.5 hrs with champagne 2 euros at interval this was a wonderful evening for 20 euros with all proceeds to an indian charity. The singing was very good... More

This is a charming church which hosts an equally charming small opera company who seem to take great pleasure in entertaining small audiences in an intimate setting. The performers are all very good and it is an easily accessible way of enjoying opera without all the pomp of a full blown opera house. I shall certainly make a return visit... More

I loved being so close to the performers...their voices were amazing.they seemed all such lovely people and doing this all for charity made it even more special. I though Alvar the male lead was magnificent in every way and Franz the excellent pianist conducted and introduced the program so very well.it is a glorious walk there over the river Arno... More

If you want to experience culture in a humoristic and yet classy manner, you have come to the right place. The opera at st. Mark's church is presented in a professional and very relaxed manner, you just know that these guys have their things under control. The singers were amazing, both at singing and at acting, the pianist was very... More

If you do anything in Florence do this. One of the most magical experiences I have ever had. Felt like a night from a dream. Even if you do not like opera, its very easy on the ear, and the wine was not too bad either. Its incredible to see such talented people so close up. SERIOUSLY YOU MUST DO... More
