Beautiful place, acres of flowers in many colors, walkways, ponds. Several pavilions containing exhibits, some cut flower displays, amazing varieties, colors. Easy to spend hours there. Train/bus from Amsterdam very easy way to travel.

We took the bus from Schiphol airport to the gardens, they run every 20 minutes and combined travel and entry is by far the cheapest and best way by public transport. Awesome day trip. Loved every second. A bus leaves the airport and in about 25 min reaches Lisse. Awesome tulips blooming in all different colors, gardens, fountains...if you love flowers, this is the place otherwise one will get bored. The tulips are so pretty and the smell is wonderful.

One of the most beautiful places I have visited!!! The colours mesmerise you and you seem to lose track of the time spent in admiring the beatiful plantations. Rainy day did nit dampen the spirits whatsoever so don't worry if you don't get decent weather on the day you picked to come here. Would go back again definitely...
