I have always enjoyed the collections at this museum. They do not have a fixed collection, but switch every 6 months (or longer periods) to new art shows. They always surprise me!
Kunsthal Museum, Nice and interesting. Especially when there are moments of bad weather, you can bring your time there. And after that have a FISH snack oposite the Museum .... at SMITH ZEEVISHANDEL

In the last two years we visited the Kunsthal several times. The last time was during Jean Paul Gaultiers exposition, which was very nice. The pretty outfits and creations were great. We went to Kunsthal to see both exhibition who were going on: THE One from JEan Paul Gaultier and Pastoe. JPG: was fantastic... We could see a wide range of his creations in real.. Amazing! I was impressed! More than 130 gowns from different collections and periods. Talking, smiling and singing mannequins. Dresses for the movies and celebrities. Definitely worth visiting!
There is at present an exhibition about Jean Paul Gaultier "from street to cat walk" showing all his amazing and bezaar designs including those worn by the rich and famous like Madonna. There is a video telling his story and many of his clothes which are displayed on dolls which have projected faces either speaking or singing to show off... More
We went to visit the exhibition of Jean Paul Gaultier. A very nice exhibition with wonderful dresses and other clothes. To enter the museum we had to wait outside in a very cold wind.
