All kind of fish and under-sea creatures, otters, pinguins and turtles - very nice. I also liked the short documentary on the "behind-the-scene" of the oceanarium, screened in a mini-cinema towards the exit of the exhibitions. The park/seaside along the oceanarium is great for walking and relaxing, the nearby shopping mall great for a bit of spending :)

Not impressive. Well designed interior, perfect for families. Building is not a creative architecture. Very far from everywhere.

If you have kids, don't miss a visit to Lisbon Oceanarium. Built for the World Expo´98 in Lisbon, and getting more than 1 million visitors per year, it's a place you should not miss. With more 20.000 sqm and 7.5 million liters, it's the second biggest in the world, with hundreds of species, from sharks to barracudas, rays and much... More

The permanent exhibit was extensive and informative... with an amazing central tank full of beautiful sharks and fish. The temporary visit was nearly magical. If you have an off weather day, just visit the aquarium. Just minutes away by metro and in a beautiful location.

We visited the oceanarium on our last day in Lisbon and we were not dissapointed. It had A LOT to see and everything is well kept including the animals. It's worth the entry fee, GO!

Interesting, educational, fun ... A well-organized space so there is no problem with crowd. It could be reached by tourist bus and public transportation. In the complex is a restaurant, and either is far from the center do not have to worry about eating (which is always the problem with young children because they can not wait). Nearby is the... More

Nice day out with kids, reasonably priced entrance fee, special exhibition with sea turtles was great. Had lunch in the on site restaurant, good value for money.

Well, this is a must-see in Lisbon! One of the best aquariums I'ver ever visited and with a good entrance fee. The different perspectives of the central aquarium, the variety of water animal species, the interesting scientific remarks and the global conception of Oceanário makes it a living astonishing museum that makes us want to stay there for the night... I thought it would be better - but is it not as great as the one I have seen in Valencia (which is amazing by the way) or in Barcelona. What I missed were those nice corridors where you can look at the fish which are just above you. Maybe they have a lot of spieces - I don't know-... More
