Situated in a former mosque, the museum is in fact one (big) room. Mainly religious orientated. Good time bars in English concerning history of Chios.
The Byzantine Museum has now moved into the beautifully refurbished mosque in the central square of Chios Town. The collection is quite small, but beautiful. We managed to get to the entrance lobby in the museum. We peaked into the room behind and saw it covered with various historical works of art. It was definitely an appealing sight.
