Usually they have some good exhibitions. But the main thing is the big Damien Hirst Collection. Placed a little bit south of Copenhagen - but just at the beach. Take a tour and enjoy both at same day. Entrance to the museum is reasonable.

There is some good art to be seen but I do understand the criticism that the building detracts from the exhibits - the ship-like construction intrudes on the works in the most unnecessary ways. An interesting museum for both children and adults. The exhebitions, café and the shop are worth visiting.

We have visited Lousiana almost every time we have visited Copenhagen. This time we chose to go to Arken Museum. It was very worthwhile. We recommend the museum and the restaurant with delicious food and a great view!

Modern art musuem located about a 25 to 30 minute "S" train trip outside of Copenhagen to Ishoj, At Ishoj there are buses that run directly to and from the museum (bus trip takes 7 minutes) about every 20/25 minutes.
