I keep my sailing boat on Lake Malaren for the winter and spring and there are always plenty of things to do on the lake. You never get bored

Saw this and the surrounding islands on a boat trip. Such an interesting way of seeing the area. There appeared to be no pollution, no obnoxious smells, just fresh air ! A wonderful place.

“Best experienced by boat”

Take one of the many boatrides out in Stcokholm's archipelago. Visit Vaxholm, Fjäderholmarna or Sandhamn and enjoy great seafood with a glass of wine. Stay at one of the hotels for a night and wake up to the sound of the sea!

Mälaren is the third biggest lake in Sweden. This one leads to the ocean. Its beautiful, depending, of course, where you go!

Lake Malaren is one of the things that makes Stockholm such a beautiful city. It was lovely and clean. I enjoyed seeing the natives out making the most of it.

“Kanoeing around in mälaren, so easy!”

We walked from kungsholmen, to Svima and rented a kayak for 2 persons, it took us about 2 hours to go around kungsholmen in this, and we did not stress. Lovely to see Stockholm from another view!
