Wonderful views over the surrounding area and, at the top, an unadvertised 'shrine' to one of Britain's best boxers, Randolph Turpin. The pub he owned is still there along with a lot of memorabilia - very interesting and unexpected.

We took a minibus tour at £7.50 each. Was well worth it. 45 mins trip to the top, an hours leisure up there and then another 45 min tour back. Learned lots about the area and the driver pointed out lots of places of interest in the town.
A walk around the Orme leaves you feeling so fulfilled & at peace, the views are spectacular. Best visited as the sun is rising or falling. Full of wildlife & even seals can be seen playing in the waters around the back of the Orme. If you're visiting Llandudno the Orme is a must!
It seems to a haunt of the pensioner with a gift shop & cafe. For boxing fans the Randolph Turpin bar is well worth visit.
Definately made our holiday. I have never in my life experienced such a peaceful, tranquil place almost impossible to describe the feeling I got. After a very scenic tour of the great Orme by tour bus we took an exciting cable car ride up to the top of the Orme where we laid out under the sunshine listening to the...

Didn't go up it, only walked round it. But really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Everywhere was clean and tidy. Lovely walk with fabulous views.
We had originally travelled to Llandudno to see the Victorian Extravaganza (which was superb) and then we made our way to the Pier and noticed the Vintage Bus Tour around the Orme (tickets available from a kiosk at Pier entrance) We were taken on a leisurely trip around the Orme and all the points of interest were pointed out by...

Great views and worth a visit. We drove up and also went up by tram, both excellant ways to visit. Go prepared for a different weather experience than maybe happening in the town..... water proofs and cold weather gear necessary only a couple of days ago. Take your cameras and binoculars if you have them.
Well worth your time to...

Take the Great Orme Tramway to the top, you won't be disappointed. We visited on a wet windy day but it was still worth the effort. On a clear day the view from the top would be fantastic.
You can see the lake district or blackpool from the top !! Or even have a good walk around the top of the orme play areas for children Good value for money to pass away a few hours.
