The most interesting small museum I have visited, you could spend hours looking at the exhibits. The staff are friendly a knowledgeable and hildren are well catered for.
It was one of the best I have been in the staff also are very helpful.Quite a lot of mixture plenty to suit everyone.
Any visitor to Ilfracombe should see this fascinating museum, with a whole series of themed rooms about the area and domestic life of the past. Very helpful to reasearchers too(which was what I was there for) always going the extra mile. Staff and volunteers couldn't be more friendly and helpful.
At only £2 for students this is a great value day out. There's lots to see and I especially enjoyed the exhibits of objects and souvenirs from exotic lands. The staff were very friendly and took the time to chat with us about the museum and local area. Recommended!
Such helpful volunteers and kids can actually touch things there, drawers of great dead creatures and very cheap to visit, keep your tickets and you can return for free.
