nice place take the kids if they like to try clay shooting on sundays its 9.30 to 12,00 for 12.50 x 25 shoots the instuctors are friendly and helpful and wooden house tea coffee breakfast there and if you join they have events a great way to meet people as well

Large clay shooting set up with fantastic coaching. Many varied traps and interesting characterful clubhouse, shop and bar/restaurant.

If you are into shooting clays and not shopping a good break. Dropped wife into city and went shooting a good day out. Average shoot, good meal in lodge, helpful friendly staff. Then had to pick up wife. Win some lose some.

Just to say that I get consistently good service here, slightly chilly reception n the shop, but once past that a great experience all round, lovely bacon roll and a cup of tea before taking 100 birds on,

Wanting to do something different with the tribe of "whatevers" we went here on a Sunday morning for the "have a go" session. Absolutely excellent and everyone enjoyed themselves. It is possible to get food/drink here as well, which is handy since there is nowhere near by. Thoroughly recommend
