Great place to watch the waves. Also a very useful marker to find your way home after wandering among the dunes

Lovely area, some wonderful restaurants (some quite expensive) and some up market shops.Hotels there are expensive but very elegant
The menu was average and it gets very busy as it is the first restaurant in a row of them. I ordered the fillet steak and I can only say it was charcoal on the outside and blue inside - the upshot was it made me sick. The waiter was most put out when I complained. We were also witness...

Loved the location. On a nice hot day, it is nice to look out onto the sea front and watch the fisherman and have a nice drink. Stick to the posher side of the Faro. The other side has very basic places to eat and African men trying to get you to buy knock off watches and sunglasses, which gets...

This is always a great place to visit. Plenty to do, plenty to see and always hot! The wind can be problems at times but still a lovely area.
The area around the lighthouse (Faro) has nice promenades with up market restaurants and shops, a pleasant place for an evening walk and a drink or meal with sea views. Prices are little higher but you get what you pay for and that's the ambience. There is a taxi rank close by so getting there and back isn't an issue...

Nice place to visit. Very beautiful bulvard along the ocean. Shopping center and other markets, but nothing cool to buy. I think it is great place to relax and look after walking people but no more.
Really lovely walking area along the esplanade. A few nice cafes and spots to stop and sit. Wheelchair friendly. Great views across the surf to Africa.
Right on the beach front, next to the Mime/Statues that the seagulls seems to like, and easy to stop for a drink and watch the world go by - most relaxing.
Lovely Spot on the Seafront, but would be nice to have some tourist information or history somewhere, instead you have a sign telling you to call a number for information. There are some lovely sand sculptures in front of it & there are lovely views of the surfers on the beach.
