Worth popping into Trinity Beach on your way back from/to Port Douglas or Cairns. Not heck of a lot of shops etc. but a lovely beach and playground and the most gorgeous tropical smell walking along the pathway which I couldn't place what it was.

Love the beach, love the community. Basically the beach is very picturesque, clean and even though we were there peak season, fairly empty. There's a lovely little walk at one end too. Very safe, relaxing

This is a lovely place to stop for lunch when travelling from Cairns to Port Douglas. We stopped at an Italian restaurant called L'Unico opposite the beach. After lunch we walked along the beach. Turn off the highway to visit here - you won't be disappointed!

Very laid back place. Loads of places to eat and sit back and watch the World go by. Good fishing off the jetty and plenty of space on the sandy beach to soak up the sun.

I had a wonderful Kayaking experience here with a local group of kayakers. We saw turtles and the most perfect sunrise. Thanks.

We live here now after a visit a few years ago! It is awesome, not too many tourists, amazing views, great facilities, nice eating places and friendly people! Enough said really :-)

This is a beautiful section of beach. However, it's untouchable through May due to jellyfish. We enjoyed the smaller vibe of Trinity Beach to the more commercial Port Douglas. Great place for an uncrowded picnic, BBQ, walk/run on the beach, friendly playground for the kids.

Off the main road so less traveled except by local families. Very quiet during the day then local families picnic in the small beachside parks. Fun to watch them enjoying their beach - then they are home early to put kids to bed. Quiet, safe, lovely. Perfect vacation beach for those who like quiet and a few local and very... More
