Nothing to dislike. A totally unique experience. The actors draw you into the roving play and the more involved you become the more fun it is. They actors really bring the history to life. You get to wander through the park near the Cascade brewery through to the old womens prison and return. It was one of the best things... More

Worth doing the tour, actors act out the story of this site, very sad they tell the story of the female convict factory and how hard life would of been for the female convicts every day.

Louisa's walk is a great way to learn the history of the female convicts sent to Tasmania. Highly recommended.

Louisas Walk is a well presented walk through the Cascade Gardens to the Womens Factory, accompanied by a informative play setting out the story of Louisa a imaginary female convict who's story could well be true. We recommend it especially if the weather is good.

I really enjoyed this. It's basically live theatre performed by 2 people as you walk along from Cascade Brewery to the Female Factory and back again. This was a story about a real person that was retold in a very entertaining way and very informative about how things were way back when...We were group of 6 women all 40+ (young)... More

Well worth the 35 $ fee for a 2 hour drama re-enactment. Good story, very entertaining, makes you wonder why this isn't being copied elsewhere.

This walk through history is told amazingly by the very professional actors who tell the true story of a convict woman from the original crime in Old London town through to life as a convict woman in Van Diemen's Land. So well told we laughed and at some points my partner cried - through the moving re-enactment of small pieces... More

I highly recommend this activity. Two actors, "Louisa" and her versatile magistrate/doctor/gaoler, led us on a very evocative and moving return journey from the Cascade Brewery down to the Cascades Female Factory, entertaining us with Louisa's story along the way. My family history made this a particularly emotional walk for me. The cost was reasonable. Two things to keep in... More

I read about Louisa's walk on Trip Advisor and decided to include it on our "to do list" during our four day visit to Hobart. My husband was unsure about it but we both really enjoyed it. The actors engaged well with the small group and we really felt part of the experience. It is very well done. I just... More

The walk obviously has made quite an impression on people and therefore i will go check it out. However 3 of the most popular Tourist attractions in Tasmania are in or near Hobart and dont seem to be highly ranked on this forum which I find somewhat strange. They are: MONA, (A amazing museum that has people flying in from... More

While it is most kind of this reviewer to give us a four star rating, I fail to see how we can be evaluated since the writer has not experienced Louisa's Walk. The review seems to be the writer's opinion about the lack of TripAdvisor reviews for other worthy tourism destinations such as MONA, Richmond and Port Arthur and if... More
