The current exhibition is Treasures of Afghanistan, and the price of the ticket to that particular exhibition also gives you free entry to the rest of this very large museum. We love to visit the museum to see their main attractions and they never disappoint. You are taken to a different place and time.
There's always something worth seeing - the permanent exhibition is first rate and there are often seriously good temporary exhibitions, check the website ... http://museumvictoria.com.au/

this was a nice informative visit in Melbourne. Amazed by it's history and architecture. I did take an architectural tour while in Melbourne and this was one of the highlights.
