What a great spacious open and beautifully set garden in the middle of the city. we went to visit the rio tinto exhibition and it is really sympathetically done, a delight for the children and adults alike, much to do and really educational in a fun way

This is a particular section of Kings Park, behind the education centre accessed by the main entrance along Fraser Avenue. It is an area of bush land that that been redeveloped so kids can explore in a "controlled" environment without damaging the natural bush land. By controlled I mean it has been purposefully set up with climbing towers, a shallow... More

My sister and her husband got married here at the Marlee Pavilion and it was a superb location. What a great place to see a wedding. The Pavilion has a stunning view of the city and the Swan River, it's private, intimate and has a roof to protect from the elements. It's also set among the trees making it feel... More

Perth's King's Park offers travellers and locals a beautiful, relaxing area amongst manicured gardens with views across the city and Swan River. Memorials to those killed in the various world conflicts are located amongst the green lawns, eucalyps, native shrubs and wild flowers. The gardens are particularly worth a visit during spring when the wildflowers are in bloom. Picnic on... More

I only spent a little bit of time and only saw a portion of the park due to time restrictions with my schedule. What I saw were beautiful gardens, memorials, and an excellent view of downtown. If you can take panoramic photos, you can get a great photo. I would revisit this park and spend more time there.

A must see when in Perth. Magnificent views of Perth City. Great for young and old. We had lunch in one of the restaurants, a bit expensive, but we expected that. While we were there we saw a wedding in the Park, perfect place for a wedding.

Kings Park is huge, beautifully-cared-for, and a real highlight of a visit to Perth. The restaurant is great, but a bit expensive, and there's an excellent aboriginal art gallery.

Close to the bustling city yet a peaceful place to be. It is be a lovely place to do picnics, roll on the grass or just sit down with a good book. Free buses bringing you to Kings Park. Love the view overlooking the city. Went during end winter, early Spring so am able to see pretty flowers blooming.
