Great way to see the Avon River is to take a punt ride. Good value for a 30 minute trip and shows you a different side of the Botanical Gardens. Very relaxing seeing the plants, trees and wildlife.

The weather was wonderful - warm sunny days and the scenery blew us away, whereever we went. We walked along the Avon River for several miles and enmjoyed every minute.
Whilst this is a "must do" for the tourist and it is very enjoyable and "English" it is greatly over priced.
Using the word river to the Avon is being very charitable. In effect it is no more than a stream.
Having said all that, it is still a lovely way to spend thirty minutes and very relaxing.
