We ate the duck for two, sitting in the garden with an awesome server. Walking around the grounds was a great cap to scrumptious wine and equally delicious food. I recommend the courses for two - it was a lot more food than ordering one dish.

I have fond memories of Pegasus bay. Back in the day when all you could get to eat was a cheeseboard. Unfortunately this time I went well out of my way to eat here and was turned away. Came with my family quite prepared to drop some serious coin for lunch and was told by a snooty waitress that there...

Arrived at 3.20pm and they were kind enough to accept us for lunch. Sat in the garden with an amazing view onto to a lovely lake and surrounding plants / trees.
Knowledgable and friendly waiter guided wine choices for our chosen dishes and we had a few vertical "half and half's" which was a great way to taste their wines...

There are some amazing grounds here and they make a rather large lineup of white wines that we thought were good. The wines were on the sweet side for us though.
Recommend by wine tour guide in Blenheim. Did wine tasting then had dessert in restaurant. Lovely gardens
This is an absolutely top notch restaurant with amazing wine selection and tasting and the most beautiful food - for a special day out I could not recommend anything nicer!!
A+ for Location and Wine. D+ for meal.

This has been a highlight of our wine tours so far, great people, amazing wine, and great food, it is in a fantastic setting, i really recommend this winery as a romantic little get away, the vineyard is well set out and the service was faultless il give it a 10 out of 10
Cannot fault Peg Bay on anything! Their Reisling is so good that my husband used to import it from NZ to Germany for me (the home of Reisling!) Get our and try some today, you will not be dissapointed!
This winery is situated in a park like setting in Waipara. The tasting room is very nicely laid out, the staff are welcoming and attentive and the wines absolutely delicious. We enjoyed both Chardonnays and the classic reisling wine.
