I must say it is a must-do when you are in Queenstown. Once we planned for NZ, i told myself i must did this. 2 things that help take Kawarau bungy are safety and classic. I trust in their safety. The world first bungy? you cant say no to that. We didnt make any booking in town. Just in case... More

Whooah.....it ws best adrenalin shot !! It is definitely tougher than the 15000 ft skydive. The kawarau river is stunning green to add color to your jump. The crew was very professional and friendly. They have this music going on at the jump site to relax you;) ..relax?? right !! However one word of caution is to book in advance. Since we... More

Thanks for such a great review! Yes, we do recommend pre-booking where possible as it can often get pretty busy, esp at certain times of the year. I hope you enjoy re-living the moment (and those goosebumps) in the future! More

We thought we'd best take a look at this place even though we had no intention of actually doing a bungy. It's a pretty little gorge but the actual centre is a fairly hideous edifice of concrete and glass with a very peculiar winding ramp inside. We watched a few jumpers (all much younger than us) and I must admit it... Thanks for your review. It's a shame the centre wasn't to your likely - most visitors love it and find it great place to visit either just to watch the activities or take part. More

Did a tandem bungy (two people harnessed and jumping together) with my wife from the iconic Kawarua Bridge. The 43 m jump is tougher than the 12000 feet sky dive. You have an instructor jumping with you for skydiving. But you have to let go of yourself for the bungy jump. The photo / video shoot is very sophisticated with... More

The guys take a lot of time to make sure you have a fun, safe and pretty exhilarating jump. They also transported two spectators with me to the centre at no charge. I was impressed and will be back!

My wife and I opted for the tandem jump and it was awesome! Though this is the not the highest jump, it is the most scenic. and having the tag 'world's first bungy' does give it a bit of charm.

I did a tandem jump with my friend! We were super scared but after the initial freefall we were loving it and cracking up laughing! We both really wanted to jump again! Jordan did an AMAZING job with our pics and video!! The whole crew were fun and having us on :)

The Kawarau Bridge Bungy was absolutely thrilling! AJ Hackett is a great place to bungy, because they have never had an accident, and definitely know what they are doing. It is the first ever bungy site, and is amazing fun. It is quite expensive, but absolutely worth it. The weight minimum is 35 kg, or 77 ponds. Our daughter is... More
