Nice place for walking and dining. Lots of festivals and outdoor activities, close to everything important.
It´s funny call this antient city The New Town. But its really nice for walking, full of good or bad bars and restaurants, shops atc. Of course, sometimes you have to be carefull ´cause of thiefs. But I mean bigger jeopardy is excelent beer for world best price. Be carefull and enjoy.
New town has fascinating architecture, great restaurants and is just enough removed from the center of tourist activity to be peaceful yet still have all of the major attractions within walking distance.

While we did have a nice time strolling through the streets of the new town in the evening, this part of Prague was by far less interesting than the other lovely parts of the city. Still, it's worth a 2-3 hour visit, just to make sure you did not miss anything, especially around Wenceslas square.
In every corner of this square there is a fascinating building. There are so many things to see such as the tower, the astronomical clock, the Church of St Nicolas and the Church of Our Lady before Tyn. This place looks amazing at night, especially during the festive period when it is lit up and full of Christmas market stalls.
