Lovely gardens that are just outside the medina Blue gate. A quiet oasis. Could be a bit better kept.

Lovely gardens just outside the main gates to the medina. The first 2 gates you arrive at are locked but carry on round the corner and you will find open gates. Security guards in evidence.
If you wandered around Fes for some hours, this park is relaxing and the plants give you the impression that Morocco is not a desert country at all. But if you are there as single woman, you may feel uncomfortable being stared by men who seem to have the time of this world!
Superb gardens with varying styles from informal to Andalucian. There has been some restoration but there is a long way to go and nothing happening at the moment.
