Great place, not too far from city center (less than 30 minutes by car), will need about 4 hours to spend there. the rides makes it easy to visit all the places & to spend as much as you want every where. Gardens are really fantastic. a wonderful day to relax ( for the whole family), i do really recommend... More

November thru to February would be the best times to enjoy an all day walk through Royal Flora but at any other time one may use covered shuttle buses, getting on and off where desired. Entry fees are inexpensive, just a few $'s. There are plenty of refreshments, food and toilet facilities as well as shady spots to sit and... More

This is another of those places that cover a lot of ground and you can spend more than half the day here. There are so many gardens here and the place is somewhere you can take many photographs. Another plant lovers dream the way it is designed. Well worth the visit.

The place is beautiful and expansive...we rode the tram to go from one garden to another.the problem is that the tram guide does not speak in English in decpscribing the gardens we are passing by. Must see is the covered paradise garden where you can see carnivorous plants. Another must see is the orchid pavilion...check the Airconditioned room where beautiful... More

Went there early night of New Year's Eve. Everything was fantastic with a nice weather. Unfortunately, live music sound was not really match with New Year's Eve night. Overall was great!!!

Was recommended by our tour guide to visit Royal Flora Garden when we visit Chiang Mai. According to our tour guide, the garden was built by the former Prime Minister, Thaksin for the King. The place is huge and beautiful. In the middle of the garden, there is a pavilion which features the traditional architect of the Northern Thailand. We... More

This might have been good when it was first opened, but it's been poorly maintained, and is of very limited interest now. It's far from my idea of what a beautiful garden is.

Beautiful gardens, this huge and spacious area is a must to visit if you love flowers and being with nature. The only setback is the weather which can be quite warm. Good to bring along sunblock lotion and a cap. If you do not wish to walk a distance, you can pay for the tram ride which will bring you... More

Beautiful flowers from all over the world. Some rare to find. Very colorful. I wish they could keep it open all year round.

The park is very spacious and well mantained. However when we were there most of the international pavilions were closed so there wasn't very much to see. The grand pavilion is beautiful and the places where there are flowers and plants it is nice. Check before you go in if all is open.
