This is a must do. The first building has a huge amount of exhibits which I found a bit overwhelming(as if this experience isn't loaded with emotions anyway). There is a research facility where you can look up names of victims of the Holocaust. I especially recommend visiting the Children's Memorial.

Eye-opening, moving, educational, heart-wrenching, powerful,....... Its a lot to take in. Can't fathom how anyone can inflict such pain and suffering on another fellow human being. Easy to get to by light rail. Beautiful park and facility. Cafeteria a good value. Guided tours available.

I liked the fact that there were people who helped others during this horrible period of time. My dislike is that even now there could be the possibility of a repeat of what took place then to happen again because people does not want to get involved because it does not directly affect them

THe "New" Yad Vashem museum is truly extraordinary.
