I saw the Giza pyramids several years ago and was looking forward to seeing them again. They are still absolutely beautiful and breath taking but the overall experience has been completely ruined. Unless you are with a guide or on a tour, expect to be hassled and harassed.

if you are going alone and not part of a group or a tour, choose the carousel (chariot pulled by a horse) to stay in the shades and have a relatively comfortable ride. Bargain the prices requested by guides always. Try riding the Camel for photos.
