Local people still use ding-ding to go to work but also is nice for visitors can have enjoyment to go slow along the street. Can see many buildings, shopping and can get off when you like. Its fun activity and not expensive. I suggest you try when you come to Hong Kong.

Ding Dind is always a fun way to ride on this old classic Deckers which is part of Hong Kong treasures that's why the price cheap and you could see the whole from the top deck just for HK 2 dollars. Can't complain much about it even the bus is running slow

Buy an octopus card, which will allow you to use the ding dings. Not as quick as the MTR but if you want to see Hong Kong at street level, this is a good way to do it!
