One of the best zoos in the world. I come from Melbourne, and ours is pretty good, so I can say that.
The zoo is not be missed if you go to Singapore. In my opinion it was a very well maintained place. Wear rubber shoes if you there because you will be up for long walks although there is tram ride available. All in all it is a very interesting place to visit for adults and kids.
We loved the open zoo concept at Singapore zoo. You can get close to the animals without all the bars and still remain safe. We used the free tram to get around as it was soooo hot. Kids thought this was great fun. We especially loved the polar bear who kept coming up to the glass viewing area. The water... More
I loved the zoo. It's a really amazing place considering the far flung location and all. The only part I hated about it was that it was just too crowded. I would advise anyone planning on going to the zoo to head there first thing in the morning when it's slightly cooler and it's not that crowded. I was there... More
The best zoo I have been to. Includes all the animals and birds you can think of and they are housed in decent habitats. Unfortunately the 'white' tiger was not being shown on the day as a new Bengal Tiger was being given a turn. It was a lot of walking and by taking the tram you couldn't see anything... More
Very well lay out. Basic natural instinct, unobstruction to observe animals behavior. Family oriented, educative but lack in variety. If combine with Ricer safari, night safari and bird park, it will be world class natured instill educational park.
Incredible zoo - highlights include the polar bear and white tigers! We took the boat team across to the other side of the zoo which had lovely views and the opportunity for a welcome breeze! Amazing day out, not to be missed whilst in Singapore!!
Did the river safari, zoo and night safari in one day. Was very pleasant but regret not going earlier in the day to enjoy the activites. The rain came and whilst walking around a zoo in the rain was novel, the animals were smart enough to stay under cover. Sadly didn't get to see as much. Come early and do... More
I regret having to right this review, but it was disappointing. I normally enjoy visiting parks, but this one I regret having spent the time to visit. It's an older park and the attractions are far apart. While they do have a "hop on - hop off" tram that runs around the park for a $5 SGD fee, it still... More
Singapore Zoo is a great place! Inuka is the best animal you will love to watch. You can see how he swim, walk, play....so much fun. It will be great if the zoo has water cooler or water point for drinking. Thank you!
