it is an acceptable place to me, but really i was not amazed by the shopping there.. it was very normal.. the thing that i loved though, was the view to Burj Arab.. it was so amazing..

everytime you go there you will find a new corner, new souveniers and local things to buy :-) good choices of restaurants too so it makes the perfect spot for walks in the sun during the day and nice dinners at night!

We went here near the end of our holiday as we always leave present buying till last but we wish we would have come here sooner the restaurants and views are lovely and the grounds of the madinat are beautiful. The place is built like a fortress around a beautiful oasis with exquisite gardens and canals. Very entertaining shopping place, though the prices are a little higher. Great variety of restaurants and nice view of the Burj Al Arab. Very nice place to spend an afternoon.
We went here in October and were wishing we had realised it was there at the start of the visit. There are a lot of places to eat, shop and drink. It is a lovely place to sit as the atmosphere and surroundings are lovely, also a good few photo ops with the Burj Al Arab in the background. We... More
This place offers great views of the Burj Al Arab and the Suok. The shopping is more market (souk) style which was fun. There is a good selection of restaurants if you're hungry. There is a little know small sea turtle rescue that you can visit for free behind the Chinese restaurant which was a pleasant surprise. There are also... More
I love trinket shops and unique dining eateries. This place was 80-90% chain, 10-20% non chain. Therefore, I didn't have a good time. This place is indoor-ish/Air Conditioned, but there aren't that many shops in general. Unless you want to come just to come, don't bother. It isn't like traditional street markets in other cities.
