I was in Jodhpur with my mum and brother in April and we booked this cookery course as we are all foodies. Everything about it was amazing! The class is in Rekka's and Anil's house in the old part of Jodhpur where they live with their 2 daughters and mother-in-law. The house is also a spice and Ayurvedic medicine shop.... More

My wife and I stayed in Jodhpur in November of 2012. We were in the middle of a month-long trip throughout all of India and this was hands down the best part of our entire trip. My wife and I are obsessed with Indian food. Despite the fact that we both love to cook, we have always had trouble getting... More

Having read all of the wonderful reviews on trip advisor I knew this was a must. However, it was also indicated that Rekhas classes fill up quickly and we would need a few days to book, but we only had 2 days in Jodhpur. On our first day we visited Spice Paradise and met Rekha and her husband (who has... More

My cousin and I took a cooking class with Rekha during our 2 week vacation in India. The lessons learned from this cooking class have traveled back with us and we often make Indian dishes at home. The spices that Rekha and her husband produce in their shop are better than any I have tried (definitely buy some for home!!!)... More

Imagine you are in Jodhpur, in a busy and polluted Indian city painted blue. Among the hundreds of small businesses, on one of the streets one can find place titled Spice Paradise. Its a place to buy a real and even magical local spices prepared by owners & also a place to learn how to cook Indian food. Now imagine... More

Rekha Sharma, the hostess makes this place worth a visit. She was unable to accomodate me for a cooking lesson the day I visited but was gracious enough the host me and my entire family for an unexpected house call and did an impromptu class for us. This was despite her very busy schedule. An impressive array of spices and... More

First of all you must understand that this is not some polished, commercial cookery course, you are invited into a typical Indian household to cook in their modest kitchen and must not expect 5 star standards. Rekha was really welcoming and her English was excellent. Her instruction was very good and the recipes were tasty. There were four of us... More

I had no idea that we needed an appointment atleast a week in advance for learning to cook with Rekha Ji. But we rescheduled our plans and came back after 2 days and we were lucky to have our spot. Being an Indian, I didn't thi9nk I would have anything new to learn, but boy oh boy, I was in... More

I booked a cooking class at Spice Paradise after reading about it on TripAdvisor eventhough our tour guide in Jodhpur had "supposedly" not heard of it, which is another story in itself. The reviews are all correct, this is a wonderful place to visit when you're in Jodhpur. Four of us took an evening class with two charming girls from... More

We called in here at around 10am one morning. I was hoping to arrange a cookery lesson but it was all booked up. The owner Raika however sat and talked with us, showed me how to make masala chai which we then drank. Yes, the spices are not cheap (although cheaper than the airport) but they are extremely well packaged... More
