The Taj is indeed one of the most beautiful buildings I have ever visited. It is breathtaking. We were here as part of a group so didn't have to bother with tickets or the like. But what I advise any visitor to do is make the effort, set your alarm early and get as near to the front of the...

Visited here at the end of April and was pleasantly surprised by the lack of crowds. The Taj is spectacular. Seeing the building at close range you see the full beauty of it which is lost in photographs. It changes colour through the day. Although there were hawkers we just kept our heads down and avoided eye contact as advised...

Only worthwhile place in AGRA - rest are rip-offs and dirty.

I could not take my eyes off it. It will always be one of the most special holiday moments in my life....the day I visited the Taj Mahal.
Get away from the crowds and walk along the side paths in the gardens. The glimpses of the Taj through the trees is fabulous.
Highlights of a trip to India always include the Taj Mahal - right! I'm sure that's true. There is a reason. This is probably the most beautiful tomb ever built anywhere in the world. Visiting here and seeing a wild tiger were definitely the highlights of our own trip.
There has been so much written about the Taj Mahal that...
