Nothing special about this place, don't expect anything here except of the palm prints on the street.

BIFF Square is just a shopping street. In the center there's a lot of interesting stalls. We even tried the Octopus Korean snack which was very lovely. YOU need to try!
There are a lot of choices for shopping. There's a nearby street having lots branded shops for hiking. :).
It was good experience but it can be excellent if...

If you're planning to visit the Jagalchi fish market or Nampo Dong shopping area, you may consider to visit BIFF sqaure as well. There's nothing special, but just a tourist attraction with a few local food, clothing stalls and shops. It's not comparable to Hollywood and thus don't expect too much to see. The nearest metro station is Jagalchi.
The whole area was filled with food stalls and shops. Spent the whole time trying out the street food (only the cooked stuff). There was this pancake I tried, I think its called Kok Ta...or something. its flour that is mixed with a sweet paste and fried. After that they take it out of the oil, make an incision, and...

I attended my first BIFF in October 2012.... and I LOVED the amazing architecture! Busan is so much prettier and more interesting than I expected and I had a fabulous time learning more about everything Korean!!!
It was supposed to be the BIFF season but when we arrived at BIFF Square at Nampo-dong, there was nothing significant. No indication there BIFF was in progress until we walked to the cinema and saw a couple of posters.
There were a few plates on the ground with hand prints of some actors and directors. Just about it.

Lots of shops here (apparel, departmental stores - Korean brands and international brands, souvenir shops and stalls), fortune telling tents.. and many many many street snack stalls!! We had an amazing tummy filling time here.

I loved the architecture!!! Korea is a developed country and that is so obvious when we look at the buildings, road and people. I love the roof of the square, its color was changing :) Beatiful.
most of the busan film festival shows have move away from here and towards haeundae which makes this place look a bit run down. it could do with a cleaning (I live near it and it always looks that way) and some new bright colors (the signs are all faded)
One of my favourite places in Busan. There are lots of shops there selling cheap goods. The street food are to die for! You have to try the hotteok! Their stall are the most popular with always people lining up to buy that tiny sweet delicacy. It is also very close to Jagalchi Market, Busan Tower and Lotte Department store....
