This place just has a few small resorts & very few amenities. The beach & sea by no means compare to the beauty of say Railay. On the plus side it is very quiet. I suspect a resort area waiting to happen but recession has put things on hold?

Remote deserted beach with blackish sand. No changing/shower rooms nor toilets.

As Had Yao is a small resort with only a few Villa's and small resorts, the beach is not well maintained. I believe that it was hit by the Tsunami and hasn't done much since. I find it hard to move around if you were to stay here without a rental car or driver arrangement.
