lovely strip of sand very near to the action...although the kata and karon beaches are better this one is good enough if u live in the patong area. lots of water sports and safe i guess. afternoons can get really hot on the beach so best to go in the morning or evenings.

patong beach it one of the liveliest beach in phuket and it is opened to public.if you would like some quite moment with you loved ones,i suggest you all to visit other beaches that are not so populated

The Beach is awful, full with garbage that no one seems to care to clean, attempted the water once, but was attacked buy plastic bags and cups. Very sad to see

Grab a banana lounge and umbrella and spend the day. Bother good spot for people watching or just reading and reading a magazine.
