Was dissapointed that the weather clouded right in and could see nothing not even the next Gondola. The reason to go to the top is for the Skywalk and now it is closed for repairs its really a waist of money

I might have been spoiled by the cable car in Hong Kong (Ngong-ping). This one in Langkawi is supposed to be the steepest in Asia, but it is not as long as the one in Hong Kong. There was also quite a long queue when we went. Also you should go on a clear day to enjoy the panoramic view... More

A must do if you're on the island. Unfortunately some stupid people have scratched pictures and messages all over the perspex windows of the cable cars which does spoil the journey up and down a little bit but once you reach the top there is nothing in the way of the gorgeous views.

We enjoyed this as much for the ride as for the scenery, which was as well as the cloud cover had dropped below the midway station by the time we got our ride. Professionally well run opeation. would be great on a sunny day.
