Beautiful! All interior made with mozaïk. Really stunning. This is how I pictured Russia. A must see, really. Beside the mozaïk I loved the inside doors!
On hop on/hop off bus route. Not to be missed. Plenty of vendors accross street for souvenirs. Meat Head restuarant nearby great for lunch
Whilst the interiors of this church are spectacular, they do not detain long enough to justify the 259 rouble entrance fee
Amazing skill and artistic talent decorates this church with huge mosaics of religious themes. Beautiful, intricate work. Staff friendlier than most we have encountered in Russia, even getting a smile and goodbye as we left. Weather was a bit gloomy for good photos but you can have your camera out without being chastised. Enjoy the adjoining park for a stroll...

I have never seen such a great monument of human greatness. It is an homage to all the creativity and beauty men can create
I was amazed at the beauty of this church. Outside is gorgeous and you can take hundreds of pictures of all angles. It's best on a day with a clear blue sky, however whatever the weather it's impressive.

This is my favorite site in St. Petersburg, In fact, my favorite during our trip to the Baltic Countries and Russia. The outside is beautiful and the inside is just as good with the mosaics. Definitely worth the admission.
The outside is spectacular from every side. Try to get here on a sunny day for the best photos. It costs about $8 to go inside. If you enjoy elaborate, colorful mosaics on religious themes, pay the money! We only spent about half an our inside, but I was impressed by what we saw and were allowed to photograph.
Classically Russian Orthodox Church, even though not very old. The decoration and architecture are a wonder to see - maybe other parts of Russia have better "Onion" domes, this was the best in St Petersburg.
